The Eldritch Flowering of Prydain
Oswestry is the westernmost town in the lands of the Saxons, just a few miles from the border with the native British (Welsh) lands. It is claimed both by the Welsh Kingdom of Powys and the Anglian Kingdom of Mercia (both of which kingdoms’ names mean “borderland”). It is the home of Hwītmynster Abbey, where the adventure begins. It is considered to be a part of the sub-kingdom of Magonsæte. It features an abandoned British hill-fort.
